This topic is definitely close to my heart, today I am sharing burnout recovery lessons I have learned from cancer. If you or a family member is going through cancer recovery and treatment this is a great resource for you.
And if you are going through this, just know I am sending you so much love and I have complete compassion for your situation. Because myself and my family have been going through it as well. As much as I wish this hasn’t been our reality, I like to look at the good and the learning from it.
The biggest tip I have: keep up your routine and habits, that have been successful for you.
You may be thinking, I have no routine or helpful habits, my life literally feels like it is upside down. And if that is the case, you need useful and fruitful habits now more than ever. Staying in routine during times of challenge and great hardship are crucial in order to make it through your day and moving forward.
Especially through the emotional and mental struggles that comes with coping with cancer. Your routine and habits will help keep your mindset right and combat those negative emotions, while feeling like you are in some sort of control of the situation.
Because you can only truly control what you can control.
Keep your routine, keep your habits that keep you centered and moving forward, while keeping your burnout under control!
