“No,” is a complete sentence.

“No is a complete sentence”

No is a complete sentence. You may think what does that mean? Aren’t we in the age of the customer who is always right, the patient was right?

Just say, “no,”

Sometimes you just need to say no to others. You cannot always live up to other people’s expectations of you and must learn how to be assertive.

If you answer yes to everything someone asks of you, it can make you feel like you being taken for granted. Individuals who say no value their time and know how to distance themselves from the situations and places they do not want to be around.

It’s YOUR life!

From a complete sentence standpoint, I’m talking about how you spend your life and how you have your time and energy taken by things that are not priorities for you.

Once you have talked about your priorities, which we’ve talked about this in other weekly video tips, then you have to have the gumption, the wherewithal, the energy, the self awareness to say no. Especially when there’s something that does not impact your life or improve your life.

So it’s very easy. It’s very straightforward.

The other thing I like about no is that that leaves no question in anyone’s mind about what’s going to happen in the future. It’s not, no, I’ll think about it. It’s no, maybe it’s just no.
