3 Steps to Burnout Recovery
It’s difficult to know where to go, and how to fix something if you do not know where you are, or your starting point.
We live in a world with non-stop notifications. Smart Phones connected to us 24-7, multitasking to try and get things done. Work-life balance turns into less balance more work.
A recent Gallup study of nearly 7,500 full-time employees found that 23 percent reported feeling burned out at work very often or always, while an additional 44 percent reported feeling burned out sometimes. Job burnout accounts for an estimated $125 billion to $190 billion in health-care spending.
What Is Burnout…Really?
- A sense of exhaustion or depletion
- Physical or mental collapse caused by overwork or stress
- Decreased effectiveness at work
On Today’s video, I’m showing you 3 action steps towards a new and improved “you.”
- Identifying the core problem.
- Figuring out your action steps.
- How to create a deadline to get things done.
The only way to truly master a skill is by actually doing what you’ll have to do in the real world.
To get from where you are to where you want to go will require change. Taking chances and making changes require new ways of thinking and acting. Always remember, your mental health is critical to your success.
